NIRSA’s Collegiate Recreational Sports Participation & Facilities Survey was launched, via email to directors at NIRSA member institutions, in mid-October.
The goal of this data collection effort, part of the NIRSA Research Schedule, is to provide members with updated participation data for both benchmarking and educational purposes.
Be sure to encourage your department director to return the participation survey by December 31.
In order to achieve this goal, though, it is imperative that all NIRSA institutional members participate in this recurring survey; full participation ensures a comprehensive look at participation numbers across the field of collegiate recreation.
The resulting report will summarize current participation numbers and trends at a national level. The study will close on December 31, 2013.
