Having the desire to make a difference in collegiate recreation is the first step in inspiring change—but acting on that desire is the next one!
Serving on one of the many NIRSA Committees and Work Teams is a great way to give back to the Association, gain fluency in a particular topic, and network with colleagues beyond your campus.

Apply by December 15 to serve on a NIRSA, NIRSA Foundation, or NIRSA Services Corporation Committee or Work Team.
Complete your Committee & Work Team application today to indicate your interest in serving the Association! The application (formerly the Committee Preference Form) lists a broad array of NIRSA Committee and Work Team opportunities, so no matter your specialty area, topic of interest, or experience level, you’ll be able share and develop your talents and expertise.
Whether you’re a student or an experienced professional, there’s a place for you! NIRSA members’ commitment and leadership within the profession is the driving force that propels the advancement of our Association goals. Bolster your professional development and serve NIRSA in a volunteer opportunity that interests you! Visit the NIRSA website to see the full list of volunteer opportunities.
To apply to serve on a NIRSA, NIRSA Foundation, or NIRSA Championship Series Committee or Work Team for 2014-2015, NIRSA members need to complete a Committee & Work Team application, located on the NIRSA Committee Preference Form webpage.
Interested in more than one area? No problem—when applying, up to three areas of interest can be selected. Please note that if you currently serve on a Committee or Work Team and wish to continue, you need to reapply to be considered for the upcoming year. The Committee & Work Team application is due by December 15.
These committee and work team appointments will be made in the beginning of the year and announced in advance of the 2014 Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Expo.
