Take the lead and share the latest in initiatives and information with your colleagues at the 2014 NIRSA Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Expo in Nashville, TN, April 23-26!

The NIRSA 2014 Program Committee is currently accepting proposals for NIRSA 2014 Poster Presentations.

Poster presentations offer experts in collegiate recreation a visually compelling medium to share research and knowledge with a wide variety of colleagues, on their schedules.

The NIRSA 2014 Poster Presentation submission deadline is November 1.

The Program Committee is committed to offering a variety of conference educational opportunities that are comprehensive and high quality. Presentations that tie directly into this year’s conference theme, “Harmonizing Our Values,” will be of special interest to the Committee. Applications are available now through November 1.

NIRSA has a guide available to assist presenters in creating an effective proposal. Presentation proposals for NIRSA 2014 Annual Conference Poster Presentations should align with the eight core competencies for collegiate recreation.

Poster Presenter Membership and Registration Requirements

All presenters must hold current professional, life professional, emeritus, student, or associate NIRSA Member status at the time of presentation proposal submission through end of conference. If a presenter is not a member, they may sign up to become a member before the presentation deadline.

All confirmed lead presenters and co-presenters must register for the 2014 Annual Conference no later than Monday, April 14, 2014. Co-authors may be recognized for their contributions to poster presentations; however, only registered conference presenters will be allowed to attend the conference. Non-registered authors and contributors will not be allowed to present at the NIRSA Annual Conference in any capacity.
