In the NIRSA communities, it seems like there are always members on the move, with professionals and students continually progressing in their professional aspirations.
For many, a NIRSA Foundation Scholarship is an important step along their professional path, helping them get to what’s next.
With the forthcoming enhancements to the “Where Are They Now?” article, we aim to feature the diverse roads to success from past NIRSA Foundation Scholarship recipients.

NIRSA scholarship recipients at the 2013 Annual Conference.
The NIRSA Foundation has awarded student and professional scholarships since 1994. During that time over 380 worthy student and professional members have received scholarships to attend numerous NIRSA educational events through the generous support of NIRSA members just like you, including the Annual Conference, School of Recreational Sports Management, Facilities Institute, NIRSA Intramural Sports Institute, and NIRSA Collegiate Sport Club Institute. Since 2007, the Foundation has highlighted 38 former scholarship winners in our “Where Are They Now?” series. The series provides an opportunity to reflect on the real impact scholarships have on the collegiate recreation profession.
