Presenting at the Fitness & Wellness Institute, you’ll further your own professional development while also fostering the same for others in the fitness and wellness field. Consider sharing your expertise in an education session that focuses on topics relevant to campus fitness, including but not limited to:
- Current fitness trends
- Fitness center design/expansion/construction
- Fitness and wellness collaborations
- Leadership and student development
- Personal training program improvements
- Research studies fitness professionals should know
- Wellness programming
As a thanks for sharing their knowledge and experiences, presenters will receive a $100 NIRSA voucher as well as earn Professional Involvement Credits (PICs) which can be used towards renewal applications into the Professional Registry.
Whether or not you decide to present, we hope to see you setting the curve in fitness trends at the 2013 NIRSA National Fitness & Wellness Institute in Denver, Colorado on October 16-18. And there’s a double perk to attending, as the Fitness & Wellness Institute will be held in conjunction with the National Recreation Facilities Institute and the National Aquatic Institute. This awesome trifecta will allow attendees to move freely between all events. In addition to quality educational sessions, group exercise workouts, and engaging roundtables, attendees can triple their opportunities to network with collegiate recreation leaders from across North America.
