Buddy-Up! Partner Exercises Using Body Weight and Resistance Bands
- Tuesday, March 6, 1:30pm-2:15pm
- Expo Hall D Lobby
- Zoe Schrader, Seattle University
Partner exercises can provide a sense of community and connection within a fitness class. They are appealing because they are not only fun, but also require less equipment. In addition, working out with others can help provide motivation, accountability, and support. During this session, partners will use minimal equipment to increase their heart rates and exercise all major-muscle groups with the use of resistance bands and their body weight. Safe and effective modifications will be provided to ensure participants can enjoy the class at their desired intensity. Overall, this session will focus on providing a safe, effective, and fun class experience where participants can form a community and individual connections with their partners.
