Event Evaluations
Resources for event organizers
Evaluations and surveys are important tools for helping NIRSA volunteer leaders improve the programs and events that they offer.
NIRSA values the feedback delivered through surveys and evaluations, and expects each event organizer to:
- Hand out session evaluations (sample below) at the beginning of each session and collect them at the end of each session.
- Remind participants during the final session to complete the overall event evaluation. Collect the evaluations as participants leave, and/or inform them of where they can turn them in at a later time.
Many regional conference planners choose to conduct their surveys electronically, via Zoomerang or Survey Monkey. See sample surveys below for an example.
