The NIRSA Annual Conference is an opportunity for professionals in campus recreation to engage in education and networking experiences that support in their professional development.
NIRSA is seeking proposals for the 2021 conference that reflect best practices and innovative ideas in the field of recreation, backed by theory, research, and practice.

|August 10||Proposals due for Poster presentations, Fitness Forum, Career Services Center Sessions, and other opportunities tbd|
|August 17-28||Review Period|
|Week of October 21||Presenters can expect to be notified if their proposal has been accepted/declined|

Presenter Eligibility & Resources
Presenters are required to be NIRSA members and are required to register for the event, unless an exemption has been approved. Additional information and presenter resources may be found here.
To incorporate perspectives from outside the NIRSA membership, the Conference Program Committee will budget time in the education schedule for guest speakers. If you are a member who has a recommendation for a keynote or other guest speaker, please submit your recommendation.
If you are a not a member of NIRSA, but you are a speaker/facilitator who wants to be considered for a guest speaking engagement, please review the speaker info kit email NIRSA Director of Professional Development, Kristen Gleason.
