Beyond learning about new approaches and techniques from a wide variety of educational sessions and developing your career path at the Career Services Center, as a student attendee you’ll immerse yourself in the NIRSA culture and community through a variety of networking and experiential learning events.
Navigating NIRSA – Saturday, April 18 at 4:15pm
First-time attendees are encouraged to attend this session to hear about the ‘must-do’s’ at conference, meet fellow NIRSA members, and learn how to make the most of their conference experience.
NIRSA Student Lounge
Stop by any time during conference to relax, have fun conversations, and grab some giveaway swag! Student leaders will be available to answer questions about the conference and volunteer opportunities in your region as well as help you connect with other students and professionals.
Talk to a Pro or Graduate Assistant
This is your chance to talk with a professional or GA about your area of interest. This is a time to ask questions and gain insight into specific departments within campus recreation. Sessions and topics will be posted in Guidebook.
Student Member Connection Meeting – Sunday, April 19 at 10:30am
Join the Student Leadership Team in recognizing the amazing work accomplished by NIRSA students and mentors from across the Association. This is a great opportunity for students to meet each other and learn about all the amazing things that happened over the year.
Take a Student to Lunch – Sunday, April 19 at 11:30am
