“I give to the Founders Endowment because our founders left a lifelong legacy of information and idea exchange. If I can help one person pass that legacy on to the next generation of collegiate recreation professionals with my gift, then I have fulfilled my obligation to our NIRSA founders. Reach One, Team One!”

“Receiving a scholarship and a travel stipend for the same conference was amazing for me. Not only did it allow me to attend the National Conference, it allowed me to network, learn and be a presenter. It also validated my hard work and efforts up to this point that I was worthy of such an award. Receiving this award motivated me even more to continue serving my campus community and our association by adding value wherever I can. Winning these awards also encouraged me to make my first donation to the Foundation at the conference. I will continue to donate because I want others to have the same opportunities I had and continue to have.”

“Receiving the NIRSA Research Grant helped me complete my dissertation research. The NIRSA Foundation is dedicated to moving the collegiate recreation profession forward, assisting people like me with their research is one of the greatest ways they do this. The data I received from my study not only helped me but will be helpful to the profession.”

“The NIRSA Foundation actively strives to improve experiences for students and professionals and it is clear not just in what they say but in the way they act. I give to the Foundation to give back to an organization that has given so much to me since I was a student in my undergrad years attending conferences and student officiating at tournaments. I give back knowing that the money I am donating will be used to positively impact my colleagues, students and professionals, to continuously reach our goals and potential.”

“I donated to the Officials Development Campaign because I was that young official. The Championship Series gave me training, mentors, and insight to a world of NIRSA and officiating that I did not know about. It started me on a path to becoming a NIRSA professional and a college football official. Countless volunteers gave back to the Championship Series and now it is my turn to give more than just time so future student officials can benefit the way I did.”
