Applications are now open for NIRSA Award committees! New this year, award committees have been reduced to a six-month term that will run July-December.

Each year, NIRSA is proud to recognize some of its extraordinary members with a variety of awards. Serving on a NIRSA awards committee is a great way to give back, gain experience, and network with colleagues beyond your campus in an effort to recognize and celebrate our remarkable members. Apply to serve by Tuesday, May 18!

Applying is easy

There’s one application and it includes a list of all available awards committees. You can select up to three groups you’re interested in being a part of this coming year, as well as if you would like to be considered for a chair position. The order in which you select your groups will constitute your preference(s) and will be taken into consideration during the committee selection process.

Awards committees include:

  • Honor Award
  • Annual Service Award
  • Creative Excellence Awards
  • Outstanding Facilities Awards
  • William N. Wasson Student Leadership & Academic Awards

Awards committees are a one term commitment, with the exception of the Honor Award committee which is two terms.
