NIRSA and ACUI are excited to announce that registration is live for the 2023 NIRSA/ACUI Collegiate Marketing Institute! This event will take place at the Magnolia Hotel in Denver, CO from December 6–8. This institute is the place to be for collegiate marketing professionals—specifically for those involved in campus recreation, student activities, and college unions.

Past attendees have wonderful things to say about this institute! 2021 attendee Corey Stilwell, Interim Program Coordinator at University Centers at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, says, “This was a very informative week for me! I’m new to this role and it’s a position that we’ve never had in our office before. I’m still trying to learn the ropes and really explore what a role like this can do for our team. I have a lot of great ideas because of this experience and I’m excited to try to implement some of them!”

He adds, “Learning what other schools do—even if they are much larger—was really fun and insightful!” For Corey, the biggest takeaways were that bulletin boards are a thing of the past, it’s okay that they don’t have a TikTok account, and that it was important to try to look at student staff through a different lens. “Why are they there?,” offers Corey. “What are their goals?”

Another attendee mentioned, “Do you ever think that you have good ideas, but you’re afraid they’re not really moving in the right direction? Well, the NIRSA/ACUI Collegiate Marketing Institute made me realize that I was in fact going in the right direction!”

The institute will help improve your marketing efforts and connect you with like-minded professionals to help build your network of expertise!

Topics that could very well come up at the institute include:

  • Project Management
  • Brand Identity
  • Wellbeing
  • Marketing to Gen Z
  • Brand Awareness
  • Telling Your Story
  • Artificial Intelligence

Register today for this incredible professional development opportunity! You’ll want to secure your spot!

Also, you now have until Friday, July 14 to submit a presentation proposal for the institute! Support the growth of your fellow professionals by sharing your hard-earned experience!

We hope to see you in Denver! This is a can’t-miss event!
