At the 2019 NIRSA Annual Conference, the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Commission unveiled their robust, in-depth publication Equity, Diversity & Inclusion: A Resource Guide for Leaders in Collegiate Recreation.

While the EDI Commission sunset on July 1, their work – and its importance to the profession – lives on. To this end, the group ensured they updated this incredible resource guide to include robust references section, providing NIRSA members a wide array of options for continuing their education even further.

Check out the updated guide today!

For a limited time only: Order a hard-copy of the guide!

In response to significant member interest – and just in time for back-to-school! – NIRSA is offering a limited time opportunity to purchase a hardcopy, printed version of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion: A resource guide for Leaders in Collegiate Recreation.

NIRSA members will have until August 1 to purchase the EDI Resource Guide. The intention behind this short timeline is to ensure members have the guide in-hand as the new school year begins.

If at least 50 copies of the guide are ordered by the August 1 cutoff date, NIRSA will be able to have the guide printed and shipped. If the 50-copy threshold is not reached, orders will be refunded.

If you place your order and the minimum threshold is met, an in-color perfect bound hardcopy of this 268-page guide will be shipped directly to your (or your institution’s) door!

Each guide will cost $95. While we hope individuals will purchase this guide for their own personal and professional growth, we also hope institutions will choose to invest in this resource for their departments.

Don’t wait – start talking to your institution and to your peer network about this opportunity and help spread the word since this one-time offer won’t last long! Ordering instructions will be announced later this week in the NIRSA news and through NIRSA’s social media channels. The Equity, Diversity & Inclusion: A Resource Guide for Leaders in Collegiate Recreation page of the website will also include ordering instructions once they become available.
