Electronic sports, known as esports, is a sweeping trend that is emerging on college campuses and throughout recreation programs. This episode explores the growing industry, how to capitalize on the trend to reach different student populations, and why esports programs might be a tough sell to some university administrations.

In this episode, Jason sits down in Birmingham, AL at the Region II Conference with colleague Sean Willett, Assistant Director for Intramural and Club Sports at Georgia Southern University-Armstrong Campus. Sean speaks to his time in campus recreation, his state and regional involvement in NIRSA, the merging of his university with a different university, and his thoughts on the future of campus recreation.
