For the first time in over 10 years, the Emerging Recreational Sports Leaders Conference (ERSLC) will venture back to Miami to visit the campus of Florida International University, Biscayne Bay Campus on January 18–20, 2018.

With educational programming, opportunities for mentorship, and a platform for career networking, this unique conference empowers young minority students with the skills and knowledge that lay the foundation to building meaningful careers in the field of collegiate recreation.

For the third year, the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Summit will be a preconference opportunity providing small programs with a chance to network and learn best practices from each other as well as NIRSA colleagues from around the country. Aligning with NIRSA’s strategic value of Service, a community service event is also available as a preconference opportunity. Attendees can register to assist with cleanup around the Biscayne Bay on foot or in a kayak with a colleague!

Registration for the conference is now open! We hope to see you in Miami!
