NIRSA is excited to announce that it has teamed up with other organizations to offer continuing education units (CEUs) at the 2017 NIRSA Triventure. Since the Triventure has three different education tracks, attendees have a unique opportunity to earn CEUs in a variety of core competency areas.

Association of Aquatic Professionals

For the first time, NIRSA will be able to provide CEUs for the Aquatic Professional Designation (AqP) from the Association of Aquatic Professionals! The AqP is a prestigious designation that sets qualified individuals apart from their peers by demonstrating their commitment to advanced education and training.

American Council on Exercise (ACE) & American Council of Sports Medicine (ACSM)

Attendees will also be able to earn CEUs from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). ACE is one of the leaders in the fitness Industry. It represents more than 70,000 fitness/health professionals and currently offers four certifications accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). ACSM, also a fitness industry leader, is widely respected for its scientific approach and is one of the few certification organizations with a peer reviewed journal.

Please visit the CEU sections of the ACE & ACSM websites to find out what you need to do to report your earned CEUs.

Registry of Collegiate Recreational Sports Professionals (RCRSP)

The RCRSP guides, encourages, and recognizes purposeful and continuous professional development in the field of collegiate recreation. RCRSP designation holders will have the opportunity to earn up to 1.2 NIRSA CEUs to apply towards renewal. Attendees may earn even more CEUs by attending a preconference workshop.

RCRSP designation holders are responsible for recording their attendance at each session in their CEU tracker, available from their NIRSA member profile.

Don’t miss this opportunity to help fulfill eligibility requirement or build up CEU credits for your certification renewal. Register for the 2017 NIRSA Triventure today!
