Applications are now open for the Assistant Director of Officials & Assignor position for the 2017 NIRSA National Soccer Championships! The tournament will be held November 16-18 at the Reach 11 Sports Complex in Phoenix, Arizona. This position serves as the Official’s Assignor as well as support for the Director of Officials, Co-Directors of Competition, and Tournament Director. Anyone interested in applying for this position must maintain NIRSA professional membership and NISOA membership throughout the term of service. “As an integral part of the NIRSA Championship Series, the National Soccer Championships continue to evolve in our efforts to provide a first-rate tournament to student-athletes across the country,” explains Erik Jaeke, Co-Director of Competition and Associate Director at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. “These efforts include the identification and development of the best collegiate soccer referees as well as the best tournament staff. We are seeking an Assistant Director of Officials & Assignor to serve in a developmental role during the 2017 National Championships under the tutelage of NISOA legend David Cymerman, who will be retiring after the tournament.”
