Hosting a NIRSA Championship Series event is an experience that requires both time and resources, but it’s also incredibly rewarding and comes with some great benefits. Hosting gives your community an economic boost, it’s a chance to show off your school, and it brings positive attention to your institution which can attract potential graduate assistants. Plus, fundraising through sponsorships, in-kind donations, and entry-fees is a fantastic way to offset costs.

Host site applications for 2018 NIRSA Regional Basketball Championships are now open. NIRSA member institutions interested in hosting are encouraged to submit an online application!

“Hosting a NIRSA Regional Basketball Championship comes with many benefits,” explains Brooke Turner, NIRSA Championship Series Committee Chair and Assistant Director of Competitive Sports at the University of Alabama. “For example, hosting provides professional development opportunities for an institution’s student and professional staff.”

Don’t miss out on this great chance to host a regional championship! The deadline to submit a host site application is Friday, May 12submit  one today.
