Hello NIRSA colleagues. Coming to you from the base of our new bouldering wall in the University of New Hampshire’s recently renovated Hamel Student Recreation Center, I take a few minutes to share some of my insights about the makeup of the NIRSA Board of Directors.

Whether you are working toward one of the more prominent volunteer leadership positions in the association or your looking to lend your talents to one of the other 2,500 opportunities available annually, it’s important for the future of our profession that you get involved.

Humans of NIRSA

I’m also happy to share this final profile in the “Humans of NIRSA” campaign to help showcase some of the many talented individuals in our Association, who are in volunteer roles that contribute to advancing NIRSA. Tiffany Lomax, Associate Director of Wellness, Recreation, and Campus Events at Delaware State University spends a few minutes talking with me about her experience helping to plan and deliver the Women’s Networking Luncheon at the 2017 NIRSA Annual Conference, what it feels like to know you have a mentor fighting in your corner, and more.

Thanks for watching, and I invite you all to share your thoughts with me by email or on Twitter—you can follow me for the rest of April and incoming NIRSA President Bill Crockett beginning May 1 on the @NIRSAPresident handle.
