The 2017 NIRSA Annual Conference & Campus Rec and Wellness Expo taking place in National Harbor, MD from February 21–24 is your source for Continuing Education Credits (CEUs)! If you are an aspiring or current member of the Registry of Collegiate Recreational Sports Professionals, you’ll have the opportunity to earn up to 1.2 NIRSA CEUs at NIRSA 2017—and that’s not including the preconference opportunities! Browse the educational session offerings to learn more.

Are you a fitness professional? NIRSA is a current partner with the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the American Council of Sports Medicine (ACSM), and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). “Power of the Pedal: Coaching Power-Based Indoor Cycling,” a preconference workshop, will also offer additional CEUs from the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA).

NIRSA recognizes that professional involvement is an important way for professional members to serve, learn, and stay current in the field. For those seeking Registry renewal, 0.4 Professional Involvement Credits (PICs) can be earned by presenting at this year’s conference. Learn more about PICs on the NIRSA website.

To help you keep track of the credits you earn, be sure to download and print out a CEU worksheet. You will also be able to pick up a copy of this worksheet at the NIRSA Education Table located in the Cherry Blossom Lobby of the Gaylord National. So register for NIRSA 2017 today and get excited to earn some CEUs!
