NIRSA members can save $50 on regular registration rates at this year’s Green Sports Alliance Summit, which is taking place June 29–July 1 in Chicago! The annual Summit is one of the world’s largest and most influential gatherings for the sports community to unite around sustainability. Bringing together more than 800 industry stakeholders and sustainability thought-leaders, attendees learn together and share better practices as well as the latest innovations in greening operations, advancing the supply chain, and engaging fans.

With a focus on engaging fans through sustainability, the 2015 program will cover today’s most innovative ideas around sports greening through a dynamic mix of keynote speakers, leadership plenaries, storytelling sessions, town hall discussions, how-to workshops, networking events, venue tours (including a tour of DePaul University’s Ray Meyer Fitness and Recreation Center), and the 3rd annual Women, Sports, and the Environment Symposium.

Of special interest to NIRSA-member attendees will be the “Case Studies of Successful Initiatives, Projects, and Partnerships” session, which will feature 2015 NIRSA Honor Award Recipient Maureen McGonagle, Director of Campus Recreation at DePaul University.

NIRSA is a member of the Green Sports Alliance, which spans nearly 300 professional and collegiate sports teams and venues from 20 different leagues and 14 countries.
