Are you looking for funding for your collegiate recreation research project? NIRSA is in the third year of financially assisting NIRSA members who are conducting research supporting advancements in the collegiate recreation field by offering the NIRSA Collegiate Recreation Research Grant.

This grant encourages the development and dissemination of impactful, research-based knowledge in the field, and includes a cash stipend of up to $2,000 for faculty, staff, or graduate students who are interested in supporting NIRSA’s research agenda.

Last year’s Collegiate Recreation Research Grant was awarded to a research team from the University of Illinois led by Ed Morford, Assistant Director, Assessment and Jami Houston, Assistant Director, Student Development. Their project was titled “Assessing Learning Outcomes of Student Employees of Campus Recreation.”
