Bluefishjobs, NIRSA’s job posting board, received a fresh new look earlier this fall!
The updated look complements the NIRSA website and provides a more seamless experience for both employers and job seekers.
NIRSA is actively looking to increase the number of employers posting on Bluefish, and is promoting the site through additional outreach with community and private-sector employers in the recreation field to widen the range of opportunities for job seekers.
Bluefishjobs, “Jobs in Collegiate Recreation & Beyond.”Bluefish is—and has long been—the primary job board for campus recreation career opportunities. On average, over 800 jobs are posted annually on Bluefishjobs, and over 4,000 applications are received for positions in areas like aquatics, wellness programs, fitness, intramurals, sport clubs, and many others. The site is free for job seekers looking for positions ranging from graduate assistantships all the way up to director-level posts.
And Bluefish offers a great return on investment for employers who receive an average of over 1,000 views per job posted. Plus, all jobs posted on Bluefishjobs can also be found on Indeed at no additional cost. That’s right, as part of NIRSA’s agreement with the site provider, all Bluefishjobs are also cross listed on Indeed. This is yet another reason that posting on Bluefishjobs is so valuable to employers!
