Aron Ralston

Aron Ralston is an avid adventurer, experienced climber, and motivational speaker. He is the author of the acclaimed memoir Between a Rock and a Hard Place and the subject of the film 127 Hours, both based on his experience hiking alone in southeastern Utah in 2003 and having to amputate his own arm when he was trapped under a dislodged boulder. His harrowing tale captivated global news outlets and remains one of the most incredible and extreme survival stories of recent history.

Dr. Ann Marie Klotz

Dr. Ann Marie Klotz is the Vice President of Student Affairs at Radford University in Virginia. Most recently, she served as the Dean of Students at the New York Institute of Technology. Previously, she spent 14 years working in Housing and Residence Life at Oregon State University, DePaul University, Ball State University and Albion College. She earned her B.A. from Grand Valley State University (Political Science) and M.A.’s from Michigan State University (Student Affairs) and DePaul University (Women and Gender Studies) respectively. She earned her doctorate from DePaul University where she studied the career trajectory and leadership styles of ten female university presidents.

Jason Zeck is the CRO of UCLA Campus Life, a subset of Student Affairs. Campus Life encompasses Recreation, the Community Programs Office, and the Office of Student Organizations, Leadership & Engagement. In addition to his role as CRO, Jason serves as the campus’ Respondent Support Coordinator for students, faculty and staff in Title IX matters (specifically those involving allegations of sexual harassment). His varied job responsibilities provide for a daily work experience where two days are never the same!
