The NIRSA Annual Conference & Campus Rec and Wellness Expo is the Association’s premier event. Every year, over 2,500 student, professional, and associate members come together for the express purpose of advancing the collegiate recreation profession. This year, come early or stay late to not only have a fantastic conference experience but to take in the sights and sounds of the Washington, D.C. area!

The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, located on the banks of the Potomac River, is the site for NIRSA 2017. Early bird registration for this event, which takes place from February 21–24, ends on January 11. Take advantage of reduced rates and register today!

NIRSA 2017 attendees will gain essential core competencies to advance their professional careers as they choose from more than 130 educational sessions, roundtables, and Pecha Kucha® presentations. Education sessions and roundtables are posted by date and time as well as by core competency on the NIRSA website to aid in conference planning. Attendees will also have the chance to hear some outstanding invited speakers, attend the Opening Reception and other networking events, and check out the Campus Rec and Wellness Expo. So register for NIRSA 2017 before January 11 and save with early bird rates!

And don’t forget to sign up for one of the many amazing preconference opportunities! While three of the workshops have filled, attendees can still choose from one of three other available educational workshops, the NIRSA Community Service Project, one of two facility tours, or a women’s networking luncheon! And keep in mind that registration for some preconference events close as soon as they fill. You’ll want to make sure to register soon!
