There are numerous individuals in the collegiate recreation field who have demonstrated an outstanding capacity for innovation, who consistently go above and beyond in their volunteer service to NIRSA, and who have made significant contributions to the advancement of the profession in their respective states and regions. These individuals both propel NIRSA forward—helping us reach our loftier goals—and maintain a local focus, ensuring the unique member voices of their regions are heard.

One important element of our Association is that we strive to recognize our colleagues for their exceptional work and efforts. This is your chance to honor the exceptional efforts these NIRSA professionals make on behalf of their regions—nominate a NIRSA colleague for a NIRSA Regional Award of Merit by November 15!

Your nomination will let these individuals know their work is valued and seen as a measure for excellence in professional achievement. Award recipients will be honored at the 2017 NIRSA Annual Conference & Expo—which is taking place in National Harbor, Maryland from February 21–24—as well as celebrated on the NIRSA website, in the NIRSA News, and in the NIRSA Know.

Take advantage of this opportunity to celebrate the achievements and efforts of your colleagues—complete the brief nomination form by November 15.
