In order to continue providing our member base with relevant information regarding facility construction trends in the field of collegiate recreation, we are now making available the results of the 2015 NIRSA Facility Construction & Renovation survey to associate and institutional members. Earlier this year, invitations to participate in the 2015 survey were sent to all institutional member primary contacts and directors.

The collected data provides holistic, valuable information on the expansion of collegiate recreation facilities within our association. This data may be used by other NIRSA members for benchmarking and trend analysis, and may be vital to the expansion of facilities, programs, and services on NIRSA member campuses.

This data collection effort is part of the official NIRSA Data Collection Schedule. As such, NIRSA periodically collects and distributes this data as a member benefit; the last collection took place in 2012 and helped inform the Facilities Construction & Renovation at NIRSA Member Institutions (2013-2018) Report. The Facility Construction & Renovation at NIRSA Member Institutions (2016-2020) Report is now available and we urge you to review what NIRSA member institutions are building across the country.

For more information about the 2016–2020 NIRSA Facility Construction & Renovation Report, or if you have any questions, please contact NIRSA Research Coordinator Ruben Guzman.
