In an effort to keep up with trends in the field of collegiate recreation, we are collecting information regarding current and future construction and renovation projects happening at NIRSA member institutions through 2020. Your campus’ response to the 2015 NIRSA Facility Construction and Renovation Survey provides holistic, valuable data on the expansion of collegiate recreation facilities within our Association.

This data may be used by other NIRSA members for benchmarking and trend analysis. It could be vital to the expansion of facilities, programs, and services on other campuses. Earlier this month, invitations to participate were sent to all institutional member primary contacts and directors—and over 100 responses have already been received!

This effort is part of the official NIRSA Data Collection Schedule. NIRSA periodically collects and distributes this data as a member benefit; the last collection took place in 2012 and helped inform the Facilities Construction and Renovation at NIRSA Member Institutions (2013-2018) report.

The 2015 NIRSA Facility Construction and Renovation Survey is open now through December 31. We urge you to connect with your colleagues to submit your institution’s data. To help you prepare to complete the survey and best collaborate with your department, you can access and print a PDF preview of the survey.
