Whether you’re a new or veteran sport club professional or student, you won’t want to miss the 2015 NIRSA Collegiate Sport Club Institute taking place in Minneapolis from June 10-12! This institute allows participants to attend an array of educational sessions focused on sport club topics—descriptions of the ed sessions and roundtables can now be found on the Institute webpage—and gives them many opportunities to network with colleagues who work in collegiate sport clubs.

The Institute will kick off with two great preconference activities on Tuesday, June 9. University of Minnesota staff will take participating attendees on a bike tour around one of America’s best bike cities during the day while the evening will be spent at the ballpark watching the Twins battle the Royals at Target Field! These activities do require additional registration and space is limited—you don’t want to wait to sign up!

Attendees will start interacting with colleagues from across North America on the very first day of the institute. One great networking opportunity is the Lunch Bunch where groups of 6-8 matched-up attendees will eat together while discussing some suggested topics. The 2015 NIRSA Collegiate Sport Club Institute Committee has also invited National Governing Bodies (NGBs) to attend a roundtable discussion and to hold tabletop displays at the Networking Social Dinner where conversations from the roundtable can be continued.

No other NIRSA professional development event offers this level of information on hot topics and trends in collegiate sport clubs. To see what other great activities and educational sessions the Institute has to offer, check out the NIRSA website! Early bird rates are only good through April 29 so don’t delay—register today!
