NIRSA: Leaders in Collegiate Recreation, the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA), and Memorial University of Newfoundland are partnering to bring the 2015 International Experiential Learning Institute to life! This great professional development opportunity will take place in Boston, Massachusetts from July 13–15, and Suffolk University will be acting as host.

The International Experiential Learning Institute offers NIRSA professionals a unique opportunity to expand their global viewpoint while training in experiential leadership and techniques. By attending this institute, participants will gain skills that will help them develop effective experiential learning practices on their campuses and learn how student engagement can be supported through experiential learning. Attendees will also have the chance to meet fellow globally-focused professionals—some Canadian and some American—who are engaging students with experiential learning.

This institute will expand global perspectives and strengthen leadership skills while also allowing attendees to experience Historic Boston. For the 2015 Institute, the Constitution Inn will provide accommodations for attendees. This beautiful inn is located in the historic Charlestown Navy Yard and is the perfect base from which to enjoy Boston’s rich history, culture, museums, and nightlife. The inn features an attractive indoor pool with sauna and recently refurbished efficiency suites with kitchenette, free wireless, and cable TV. When you’re ready to explore the city, a complimentary shuttle bus is available to the North End.

The 2015 International Experiential Learning Institute is limited to 80 participants—a balance between Canadian and American—and registration for the event is now open! Make sure to take advantage of early bird registration rates; pricing is $595.00 per person until Friday, May 29. After May 29, registration will be $665.00 per person. Attendees should note that these prices do not include housing costs.
